Bill and Tiffany were married on a marvelous Friday afternoon at the Center for Wooden Boats on Lake Union. What I loved about this couple was how they "sailed away!" As we completed their waterside ceremony, and to the cheers of family and friends, Bill and Tiffany boarded a gorgeous sail boat at the nearby dock and "sailed away" for a few moments alone.
As I watched Bill and Tiffany move from the dock, I was struck with how beautiful the actual moment was. It just was. Sometimes poignant and unexpected moments within a wedding day catch you by surprise - for me, this was one of them.

Think about love – all we can see is money: sexy dress, very nice perfume, five star hotel (or even 2 star-rated hotel count), bouquet of flower, wine, car, bla bla bla…Couple need these in their love live.
It won’t hurt to say that money is everything. Because in this all-new world, we need money even to go to the toilet! But because of the old saying, “love is everything”, then we cared less on this new rule - “anything needs money”.
Love needs affection to grow. Then where does these “affection” came from? From a dozen of expensive roses, from a dinner at five star hotel, or from that luscious diamond gift?

Mmmm... Okay, this isn't exactly a wedding ceremony topic but it is one close to my heart - baking!
I officiated Tara and Clark's wedding ceremony this past Saturday evening and left with a marvelous goodie bag filled with absolutely delicious cookies!
I was very taken with this cute and fun favor idea because: - it is very personalized - people could "mix and match the cookies" - children especially loved this!

And during the weeks that I worked via email and phone to build a ceremony for Kate and her sweetheart, Robert, I learned more about their beautiful and poignant love story and the personal challenges that sweetened their ceremony with gratitude and appreciation.
Robert + Kate ~ And they got hitched! At The Bacon Mansion with 20 plus close family and friends.
Once pronounced husband and wife, Robert took Kate's hand and they danced...there might have been 20 or so people looking on and in this moment, it was just them.
Robert and Kate ~ I wish you much happiness and am so happy you were able to leave Seattle in good health and with such promise!
