Love vs Money – Choose Money

por | | 0 comments

Then choose love if you do not care much about losing your love one. Otherwise, you should go for money first when decides to involved in a serious relationship or not. In this “anything needs money” world, one must think about making money first, before making love. Oopss..

Think about love – all we can see is money: sexy dress, very nice perfume, five star hotel (or even 2 star-rated hotel count), bouquet of flower, wine, car, bla bla bla…Couple need these in their love live.

It won’t hurt to say that money is everything. Because in this all-new world, we need money even to go to the toilet! But because of the old saying, “love is everything”, then we cared less on this new rule - “anything needs money”.

Love needs affection to grow. Then where does these “affection” came from? From a dozen of expensive roses, from a dinner at five star hotel, or from that luscious diamond gift?

This might be the best thing you can do to balance between the money and the love life:

“It is true that we all need love to motivate us, to care for us. However, we also need money in order to add “value” to the love. Money and love. You need love to motivate you to work hard. Then when your love reaches some level, then you have to make sure that the money works best to make sure you get your desired love life”

Title: The O'jays -For the love of money + Lyrics

Lyrics:
Money money money money, money (x6)
Some people got to have it
Some people really need it
Listen to me y'all, do things, do things, do bad things with it
You wanna do things, do things, do things, good things with it
Talk about cash money, money
Talk about cash money- dollar bills, yall

For the love of money
People will steal from their mother
For the love of money
People will rob their own brother
For the love of money
People can't even walk the street
Because they never know who in the world they're gonna beat
For that lean, mean, mean green
Almighty dollar, money

For the love of money
People will lie, Lord, they will cheat
For the love of money
People don't care who they hurt or beat
For the love of money
A woman will sell her precious body
For a small piece of paper it carries a lot of weight
Call it lean, mean, mean green

Almighty dollar

I know money is the root of all evil
Do funny things to some people
Give me a nickel, brother can you spare a dime
Money can drive some people out of their minds

Got to have it, I really need it
How many things have I heard you say
Some people really need it
How many things have I heard you say
Got to have it, I really need it
How many things have I heard you say
Lay down, lay down, a woman will lay down
For the love of money
All for the love of money
Don't let, don't let, don't let money rule you
For the love of money
Money can change people sometimes
Don't let, don't let, don't let money fool you
Money can fool people sometimes
People! Don't let money, don't let money change you,
it will keep on changing, changing up your mind.

Where Oh Where Was I Last Saturday Night? Hmmm...beautiful downtown Poulsbo, Washington! Brenda and Chris Ruddick, January 26, 2008
Poulsbo, Washington
"...just look at the joy on Brenda's face during her ceremony!"

I had the honor of officiating Chris and Brenda's wedding ceremony this past Saturday evening in Poulsbo, Washington. This was an interfaith ceremony, celebrating Brenda's Jewish heritage and Chris's more non-denominational background. Married under a Chuppah, Chris and Brenda were truly in the moment - and the joy just shined thru with laughter and humor.

Congratulations, Chris and Brenda!

Planning Your Seattle Wedding Ceremony? Three Quick Tips To "Remember More..."

por | | 0 comments

Planning Your Seattle Wedding Ceremony? Three Quick Tips To "Remember More..."A funny thing may happen to a bride or groom on the way down the aisle ~ or when a wedding ceremony begins...wedding ceremony anesthesia!

Really!

A wedding ceremony is a big emotional event. Knowing this, I often write for "moments" as moments and the "feeling" of a ceremony are what a couple and their family and friends will remember in the coming years, not the actual words.

As you plan your ceremony, here are three quick tips to "remember more..."

1) Slow Things Down. Elegant humor in the first minute or two of a ceremony relaxes everyone and "grounds a couple" to remember more of their ceremony... Memo and Kristin (in the photo above) are a great example of this. They mixed the sacred with elegant humor and created great ceremony memories for their wedding day at Shilshole Bay Beach Club.

2) Don't Over Practice. Rehearsals are terrific and at the same time, spontaneous moments create lifetime memories that "planning tactics" can't replicate.

3) "Focus On Each Other" ~ I encourage a couple to "focus on the other" during the ceremony - and by doing so, the rest of the world hopefully fades away a bit.

The Purpose, Planning and Packing your Bug-Out-Bag 1/3

This video series goes over information concerning the 'Bug-Out-Bag'. For those just starting out this will give you a good idea on the basics of building your own BOB.

the Bug-Out-Bag

Survival Kit

Ten Essentials
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_Essentials

BOBs are not new but are gaining popularity as ppl understand that they need to be responsible for the safety of themselves and their family members. Lots of info on BOBs can be found on the internet but you need to build your BOB for you, your location and the possible emergencies you might face. Many ppl cannot spend lots of money on their BOB, so the information here is geared toward those who dont have a lot of money &/or those who are just beginning to gather information on what a BOB is and how it is to be used in conjunction with various survival skills. You can have the most expensive and high tech BOB but if you cannot use the items to survival (IOW you have little or no skills) then your BOB is worthless.

A BOB is not just a bag of stuff, but tool to help you survive in an emergency. The greatest tool you have is you and your abilities to evaluate your situation, build a BOB and practice using it so your confident in your abilities and equipment. Remember this is just an introductory look and not an all inclusive video series.

I hope this helps.

:)

Congratulations to MacKenzie and Eric - and Sweet Baby Kennedy!

Congratulations to MacKenzie and Eric - and Sweet Baby Kennedy! MacKenzie & Eric and Baby Kennedy
Summer, 2008
Throughout the year, I get unexpected and wonderful emails from couples whom I have married, often with marvelous news to share.
Today, I got an email from MacKenzie and Eric and it made my day. MacKenzie and Eric were married on a very rainy and blustery July day in 2006 at the wonderful Kiana Lodge on Agate Pass. And this couple didn't let a few rain drops or a complete change in ceremony plans alter their kindness, passion or understanding of what a "wedding day" really is - i.e., the very first step on a long marriage journey!
