You've gotta love Stuart and Nicole Roy! Not only is the couple meant to be together, they know how to throw a party! Stuart and Nicole celebrated their partnership with marriage this past Saturday evening at one of the newest and finest venues on the Eastside, Novelty Hill Januik Winery in Woodinville - www.noveltyhilljanuik.com
On-Site Event Manager, Emily, did a smashing job in helping me coordinate an elegant start to this couple's wedding ceremony and from what I could see of the reception set-up, it was definitely an evening for lifetime memories.
Stuart and Nicole, I agree - I hope we meet again, some place, some time!
Bill and Lindy were married in front of their family and friends in a late morning ceremony at Kiana Lodge this past Sunday. Yes, it was quite the morning, which included the Bainbridge - Seattle ferry crashing into Coleman dock! Thankfully, all of Bill and Lindy's guests were already at Kiana Lodge.
What I treasured about Lindy's participation in her wedding ceremony was her absolute joy in joining her life to Bill's. When Lindy replied, "I Do" - it was a festive, fun and drew alot of elegant laughter and smiles.
Joyful Photo: As you can tell from the marvelous and poignant photo above, captured by Wedding Photographer Extraordinaire, Kurt Smith (www.kurtsmithphotography.com), Lindy's "I Do" moment perfectly framed a beautiful and memorable ceremony!

The were living in different States when introduced on a "hunch" by Rose's niece. Quinn and Rose were delighted to find such a sweet love at mid-life and Rose picked up her life and her girls and moved to be with Quinn and his boys.
Rose and Quinn have worked to create a loving and blended family that not only includes the two of them, but two boys, two girls, a dog, a cat, other creatures - and lots of love!
Orchestrating a blended family isn't an easy job. And yet, somehow, when you witnessed the excitement, peace and comfort in the eyes of Quinn, Rose and their children on this wedding day, such a big job makes beautiful sense.
To Photographer Cory Parris - thank you so much for this wonderful photo! www.coryparris.com

Title: Jim Quinn of Quinn & Rose on the US Constitution
An excerpt from this morning's show about how our constitution sets us apart from other nations and why lefties are always attacking it and trying to alter it so that it no longer limits the power of the Federal Government.
You can listen to the show from 6am to 9am on WPGB-FM at http://www.wpgb.com or on XM Radio on XM-158 from 6am to 9am.
The first hour repeats on WPGB-Fm from 9 to 10am for late risers. LOL
Interested in a few wedding facts? - The average US bride got engaged at age 26 and the average groom at 28.
- What type of wedding are you planning? Traditional still tops the list at 51% with 19% of couples going casual, 13% going formal, and only 2% of couples planning an extravagant wedding.
- How are you getting your wedding planning information? If you are like most people (84% to be exact), you depend on Internet sources for planning or go to friends and family for help (86%).
- Getting married in a church or other religious institution? Well 49% of couples are following in your footsteps.
- The average number of guests at a wedding is 166. Personally, this number surprises me as most weddings I officiate in Seattle range from 75-100 people.
- If you are getting married in the summer and are having a difficult time securing your favorite vendors, this may be the reason why. The majority of weddings takes place from June through August with August hitting a high of 233,413 weddings!
- Probably the wedding fact that most couples are curious about is how much money other couples are spending on their wedding. With costs skyrocketing by almost a thousand dollars every year, see how your budget fits in. In the United States, total spending on a wedding in 2008 is (drum roll please!) $28,800!

My annual stunts and tricks showreel. This year's reel also include chairwalking, dice stacking, skateboarding, wushu weapons, yoyos and more.
No matter the size or structure of your wedding ceremony, consider a "group photo" immediately after your wedding ceremony. I often set up the the logistics of the photo with a couple's photographer ahead of time and then elegantly "instruct family/friends" before the ceremony for a wonderful "after we're done" shot!
This photo makes for a wonderful memento from your wedding day and also personalizes a beautiful thank you card.

Oh, sometimes I just have too much fun at a wedding ceremony! I had the marvelous opportunity to marry Dennis and Claire at the fabulous new wedding venue, JM Cellars in Woodinville.
Things got a little dark before we all knew it. And most of the ceremony was done in the moonlight with what seemed to be a zillion candles all around. Being that we were at a winery, Dennis and Claire toasted their marriage within their ceremony with a special wine for the occasion - and thankfully, I navigated my way around this ritual in the moonlight and candles.
If you'd like to take a peak at Dennis and Claire's venue choice for their wedding, go to www.jmcellars.com - and ask for Peggy! My thanks to Joe and Jill Hein of http://www.joejill.com/ for getting some fabulous photos of this marvelous ceremony.
