How I enjoyed the marvelous opportunity to share in JR and Nicole Salmon's wedding day!
Their sweet daughter was a highlight of their wedding ceremony, walking down the aisle with her Mommy in full petal girl glory! This was a large wedding at The Edgewater Hotel and JR and Nicole worked with me to create a ceremony that was uniquely their own. The focus was on their loving partnership and it also included their charming little girl with beautiful words and a special gift.

This is the same gameplay and stuff that was in my "Blink" montage that Small Beans edited..but a lot of people wanted to see my original montage as TopNotchMultimedia didn't really like the editing. Yes there are some bits that might not be to peoples taste but I liked this montage as it is how they USED to be when montages dominated and no one even did commentaries.

Absolutely gorgeous! Sunless beautiful looking tan. I don't know if any of you have this problem but my body has different colors all over and Although I have olive skin and tan very easily for some unknown reason my face is always brighter then the rest of me. What a drag! thank the Lord for Airbrush Tanning for "Ghost Face" like me. I get an all over body spray tan to look good in my bathing suit :=)
The solution used in these products is a safe and effective chemical known as DHA (Di-hydroxy-acetone). The FDA approved DHA (a derivative of sugar cane or sugar beets). The DHA adheres to the dead skin cells on the top layer of your skin, and will remain until your skin exfoliates. The DHA reacts with your skin to produce a 'coloring' effect that will give you a tan look.
So, with Airbrush Tanning I don't need to get a Sun Tan and MELANOMA, or the bacteria prone tanning beds. Not my thing. At last no more ultraviolet radiation!!!!! Yes, I was one of those who would lay in the sun like a lizard and of course now i'm afraid to look like one. So big hurray for Airbrush Tans! I can go light during the winter moths and darker in the summer. I think I'm addicted, I get my fake tan done once every 10 days, you know to keep the tan and touch up of course to keep it looking fresh.
Alert! there are a few things you need to know to keep the fake and loving tan from dissapearing. Make sure previous to getting the tan that you don't wear any make up or any sort of lotion on your skin as this can affect the tanning solution from sticking to your body. Please do shower since you should not shower after getting the tan for at least 6 hours (better if you shower the next day).
Don't forget that our skin sheds constantly so in order to get the most of your tan you MUST get your skin exfoliated which can be done with a body scrub from Lalicious, my favorite scent Tahitian....mmm smells like Hawaiian Islands. There are other scents as well if you have a sweet tooth there is Brown Sugar Vanilla, if you love fruit you can also have Lily Mango or Coconut. There is a lot to choose from and it all depends on your mood. Lalicious has plenty of products (Body Oil, Body Butter, Body Soap, Scrubs) to make you think you are in heaven.
Don't forget to wear your Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant 30, the day after your tan and everyday thereafter, otherwise what is the whole point of a fake tan. Here at the spa we carry these products but we also can order the products for you if we just happen not to have the one you want. So if you are trying to be healthy and wise, get the Soft & Tan, it's a great combination, relax, exfoliate, tan and finito!

Every year at the Mayflower Park Hotel, employees that have been there for 10 years or more are treated with a day outting and lunch. This year it was at the Seattle Underground tour. I often work with couples to write their vows. And there are many ways to do this. You may write your own vows with my assistance. You may write your own vows and send them to me separately and share as a "surprise" during your ceremony. Or perhaps you'd like me to write a personalized set of vows for the two of you that are alike or most likely, very different.
Either way, as a Celebrant and Officiant, I've witnessed many wonderful vow exchanges. And here is what is true: if your vows are heartfelt, poignant, from your heart and "real," all is good.

I'm not a big fan of wedding receiving lines. This goes for casual or formal weddings, small or large guest lists. I'm also not a big fan of having a couple immediately greet family and friends immediately after their ceremony.
Why?
A wedding ceremony is a vulnerable and emotional life experience. I encourage each of my couples to take a few moments of private time - whether it's a few minutes or 15-20 minutes - to just "be" together. Most of my couples take advantage of this and use the time to be alone, put their feet up, take a walk or just snuggle and take in the first moments of "Gosh, we are really married!"
This also gives your family and friends a few minutes to get up, get something to drink and mix and mingle a bit. A wedding day goes so fast - capture and create "defining moments" and allow your post ceremony "quiet time" to be one of them.

Michael and Suzanne were married on a sunny Summer afternoon at Seattle's Rainier Club ~ much to the absolute delight of their family and friends.
Suzanne's Mother flew in from England to attend the wedding and this intimate gathering was a perfect complement to a ceremony and celebration so well planned by this couple.
Suzanne's son, Daniel, did a spectacular job as "ring boy" and at the end of the ceremony, he joined the clapping and congratulations by raising his hands in the air with great joy - so well captured in a photo!
