1. WHEN WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN? You'll see him when you see him. If he wants to see you again, he'll call. If not, next. You don't have time for anyone that doesn't have time for you.
2. WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL? There's only one answer to this question: Because he didn't want to!!! What you're really asking is, "Why didn't you want to call me?" Who knows!! There could be a lot of reasons, but you shouldn't be sitting around wondering why. You should be out dating lots of different guys and not worrying about ONE guy. Don't be so quick to put all your eggs into one basket, because if they break, it's a big mess! 3. WHERE WERE YOU? If he wanted you to know where he was, he'd tell you. What you're really asking is, "Where you with another female that you like better than me?" Your insecurity is showing, sweetie. If anything, he should be wondering where you were.
4. I LOVE YOU (FIRST). You're saying it in the hopes that he'll say it back, but what if he doesn't? You'll be devastated and probably feel foolish. Saying "I love you" is not going to speed things up if he's not ready to say it back. So just cool it, and let him be the first to say it when he's ready.
5. DID YOU SLEEP WITH HER? As long as he's not sleeping with her now, who cares? The past is gone. Don't torture yourself (and him) with these thoughts. In this case, ignorance really is bliss.
6. ARE YOU SEEING ANYONE ELSE? Mystery is to men what romance is to women. You've just indirectly told him that you want to be exclusive, you've handed over control of the relationship and you've killed the mystery. Who knew 5 words could be so powerful? 7. WHERE IS THIS GOING? Nowhere fast if that's your attitude. Guys want someone fun and easy to be with, not someone that's constantly worrying about the future. His actions or non-actions will tell you where it's going. If it's going somewhere, you'll know it. If it's not, you'll know it too.
8. WE NEED TO TALK. This is the equivalent of, "Go to the principal's office". Guys know it's not going to be a fun conversation, so they're already on the defense. If you need to discuss something, just casually bring it up when the both of you are relaxed. Don't try to talk to him when he's tired, stressed or trying to watch TV!
9. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? What you're really asking is: Is something wrong? Are you mad at me? Are you thinking about our relationship? Are you thinking about me? Are you thinking about someone else? If he wants you to know what he's thinking, he'll tell you on his own. If he doesn't, he'll lie when you ask.
10. I DON'T TRUST YOU. What you're actually saying is, "You need to step up your game, because I can see you're up to something." If he is up to something, he'll just become even sneakier. Better to think smart and act dumb-it'll be easier to get the evidence you need to confirm your suspicions.

Steve & Gabe ~ Islandwood/Bainbridge Island, WA January 30, 2010
Steve and Gabe were married at one of Bainbridge Island's treasures - Islandwood. Islandwood is now hosting seven weddings each year and Steve and Gabe were fortunate to be "wedding #2." Allyson, Jaime, Marla and the staff at Islandwood did an extraordinarily job in helping me to pull together this couple's Interfaith wedding ceremony. Olympia-based Photographer Andrea Latham (www.andrealathamphotography.com) created lifetime memories for our couple with exquisite photos.
There was so much joy in the room as Steve and Gabe were married under a hand-made Chuppah. Family and friends participated in the wedding ceremony and Steve and Gabe incorporated rituals and elements from their Jewish and Catholic traditions. In this work that I do, I love it when a couple creates a robust wedding ceremony that is full of sacred moments, gratitude, fun and joy.

Over the past eight years, Discovery, Environment, Community and Stewardship have been the guiding themes of IslandWood's school programs for 4th, 6th and 7th grade students.
I loved getting to know Roger and Kelly and working with them to create a sweet and memorable ceremony on one warm Thursday evening a few weeks ago at the marvelous Monte Villa Farmhouse in Bothell.
And take a look at their girls! The young lady on the left is Kelly's beautiful daughter (with a huge sense of style!) and on the right is the couple's sweet little one. Picture perfect!
Roger and Kelly - You are an inspiration for all of us and I wish you much love and happiness.
In this work that I do, every couple I work with has a different vision for their wedding day.
So, indulge me while I take a minute or so so share a few of my hard-learned tips to creating a more elegant wedding ceremony:
1) Give Your Guests A Job ~ Before your ceremony begins or before pronouncement, have your Officiant/Minister tell your family and friends what is "going to happen next." This way, guests know what to do immediately after a ceremony and this creates a more elegant transition from ceremony to party/reception.
2) My Half-Hour Suggestion ~ If your wedding ceremony is starting at 6:00 p.m., put 5:30 p.m. on the invites. This "fudge time" allows for a little extra time for a bride/groom and wedding party and also creates a more easy and elegant welcoming for family and friends.
3) Put your Intention On Creating An Imperfect Wedding Day ~ Perfect Wedding days are "perfect' because they are imperfect. This is the paradox of a wedding day. Focus on the key ingredients of a beautiful wedding day: love, appreciation, gratitude, anticipation and peace. I love and treasure the imperfect moments of a wedding ceremony as they are spontaneous, often fun and joyful and handled with ease and care, they creates lifetime moments.

Jesse shows off his amazing tricks from hand stands in motion, to skateboarding like a human! This little man loves to entertain, and be the center of the spotlight. All of Jesse's training (from basic sit, to rollover) have been done using Positive Reinforcement and Clicker Training. It is so fun to work together with Jesse as a team, and we have so much fun learning from each other. Teaching tricks is a wonderful bonding activity, and mentally stimulating aswell. Not only is Jesse learning how to figure things out, but he is having fun at the same time! =o)
Jesse chooses to do the behaviors in this video, and has so much fun bringing smiles to people's faces. He gets treats for doing his tricks, and enjoys learning new things. Tricks are just one of the activities we enjoy doing together. When not doing tricks, Jesse can be found playing with his cuz ball, chasing squeaker tennis balls, digging in search for lizards, de-fluffing stuffed toys, swimming, and a companioning me on outings. Jesse loves adventure, and lives each and every day to its fullest. Jesse is my best friend, heart dog, and truly a member of the family, and I love him with every beat of my heart.
