10 Things Never to Say to A Guy by Lucia D

por | | 0 comments

1. WHEN WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN? You'll see him when you see him. If he wants to see you again, he'll call. If not, next. You don't have time for anyone that doesn't have time for you.

2. WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL? There's only one answer to this question: Because he didn't want to!!! What you're really asking is, "Why didn't you want to call me?" Who knows!! There could be a lot of reasons, but you shouldn't be sitting around wondering why. You should be out dating lots of different guys and not worrying about ONE guy. Don't be so quick to put all your eggs into one basket, because if they break, it's a big mess!

3. WHERE WERE YOU?
If he wanted you to know where he was, he'd tell you. What you're really asking is, "Where you with another female that you like better than me?" Your insecurity is showing, sweetie. If anything, he should be wondering where you were.

4. I LOVE YOU (FIRST). You're saying it in the hopes that he'll say it back, but what if he doesn't? You'll be devastated and probably feel foolish. Saying "I love you" is not going to speed things up if he's not ready to say it back. So just cool it, and let him be the first to say it when he's ready.

5. DID YOU SLEEP WITH HER? As long as he's not sleeping with her now, who cares? The past is gone. Don't torture yourself (and him) with these thoughts. In this case, ignorance really is bliss.

6. ARE YOU SEEING ANYONE ELSE? Mystery is to men what romance is to women. You've just indirectly told him that you want to be exclusive, you've handed over control of the relationship and you've killed the mystery. Who knew 5 words could be so powerful?

7. WHERE IS THIS GOING?
Nowhere fast if that's your attitude. Guys want someone fun and easy to be with, not someone that's constantly worrying about the future. His actions or non-actions will tell you where it's going. If it's going somewhere, you'll know it. If it's not, you'll know it too.

8. WE NEED TO TALK. This is the equivalent of, "Go to the principal's office". Guys know it's not going to be a fun conversation, so they're already on the defense. If you need to discuss something, just casually bring it up when the both of you are relaxed. Don't try to talk to him when he's tired, stressed or trying to watch TV!

9. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? What you're really asking is: Is something wrong? Are you mad at me? Are you thinking about our relationship? Are you thinking about me? Are you thinking about someone else? If he wants you to know what he's thinking, he'll tell you on his own. If he doesn't, he'll lie when you ask.

10. I DON'T TRUST YOU. What you're actually saying is, "You need to step up your game, because I can see you're up to something." If he is up to something, he'll just become even sneakier. Better to think smart and act dumb-it'll be easier to get the evidence you need to confirm your suspicions.

Yes, the decade of disco, kung fu, and watergate

Because in the 70's, Deniers will tell you, All climate scientists believed an ice age was coming. Those crazy climate scientists! Why can't they make up their minds?

But is that really true?
Maybe a little historical perspective is in order.

Daily Facial At Home!

Daily Facial At Home!
Every morning I inmediately go for my Clarisonic Iand every evening before I go to bed I use it too. I've incorporated this into my daily ritual and it's worked wonders for my skin. The Clarisonic is unbelievable!
It's simple, fast and convenient. Just one minute, twice a day with your favorite cleanser from Jan Marini. It recharges and it's waterproof so I can use it in the shower. My friends have noticed the difference, they see that lines and wrinkles are not as marked.
My C-esta from Jan Marini absorbs better and so does my Age Intervention cream (also from Jan Marini). I no longer have oily areas, dry patches or blemishes.
I'll never go back to just washing my face with my hands. I use my Clarisonic every morning and get a facial at least once a month and I look refreshed and young...just like in my 20's :)

Title: Jergens Natural Glow Daily Facial Moisturizer product review on Mens Skin Care with Ross

Jergens Natural Glow Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer is reviewed in this video. I found that this gradual self-tanner builds a very natural looking tan. The lotion itself is oil-free and white in color. It goes on very smooth and does a good job moisturizing; it also has SPF 20 so I don't need to apply additional products after using this one. I did find that by midday my skin was a little greasier than it would normally have been, but I remedy this by blotting with TP. Gradual tanners are great to help reduce the possibility of streaking and also allow the user to customize the depth of color. Feel free to comment with any questions, I'll respond!! Thanks for watching guys!

Life Of A Seattle Wedding Officiant: Why I Would Love To Marry You And Why I Say "Check Others" Out...

por | | 0 comments

Life Of A Seattle Wedding Officiant: Why I Would Love To Marry You And Why I Say "Check Others" Out... Getting married - getting hitched - is a big huge deal.

When I meet with a couple, you won't find me "pitching a package" ~ i.e., the emerald package, the gold package, the pearl deal.

Instead, most often, when I meet with an engaged couple who is seeking an Officiant, I suggest that they meet with a number of Wedding Officiants.

Yes, I love this work that I do. And I love booking a couple for a wedding - especially one I am crazy about. Yet at the same time, I know one thing for sure. I'm the right Officiant for many couples and not the best choice for others.

Selecting an Officiant for a ceremony is a very personal decision and often a daunting decision for engaged guy and gal. When I meet with a couple, I don't arrogantly assume I'm the "right choice." I want a couple to talk or meet with a number of Officiants and to do their "selection homework." Then, when I am happily the best choice, I know that I have a couple who truly appreciates my personality, approach to this work and my heart and spunk. And I fully get that I am the best choice for them.

My thanks to Ann Pallesen for the gorgeous photo of her on her wedding day with a vintage camera. Photographer Sharlane Chase took this photo and it's one of my favorites - it's sweet, mystical and so very unique.

Andre and Amanda's Beautiful March Wedding Day ~ The Pickering Barn, Issaquah, WA

Andre and Amanda's Beautiful March Wedding Day ~ The Pickering Barn, Issaquah, WA Andre and Amanda
March 20, 2010
The Pickering Barn

Okay, just look at these sweet smiling faces!

Andre and Amanda are one of those young "it" couples. They met as teen-agers and have created a most remarkable, loving and compassionate relationship over the past six years. And for a big chunk of those years, this included a long-distance relationship.

In front of 200+ family and friends, Andre and Amanda exchanged their vows. A sweet moment in the ceremony for me was when little flower girl Nola walked down the aisle. I was fortunate to have married her parents, Mark and Meghan, a few years ago at Bastyr Chapel and if you know this couple, their little girl is going to be a dynamo in life!

Andre and Amanda - thank you for trusting me with your story. I left your ceremony with a little lilt in my step ~ it was fun to be back in my old neighborhood (Issaquah), where I lived for six years before moving to Bainbridge Island.

Romero and Erin - Joyful, Fun, Moments of Solemn Gratitude and a Wedding Pooch! Romero and Erin Zamora ~ 2009
Lake Union Cafe

I loved officiating Romero and Erin's wedding ceremony at the marvelous Lake Union Cafe. We worked together to create a traditional wedding ceremony with contemporary pieces and the "tying of the lasso" from Romero's Mexican tradition included both sets of parents in this beautiful ritual.

Jennifer of www.redfishphoto.com took this poignant photo of Romero and Erin outside of the Cafe, walking away for a few moments.

Looking Ahead To Summer - And Weddings By The Water/In the Direct Sunshine...

Looking Ahead To Summer - And Weddings By The Water/In the Direct Sunshine... Signing Tiffany & Bill's Marriage License - Dockside!
wonderful photo by Jeremy Phipps: www.jeremyphipps.blogspot.com

Bill and Tiffany perfectly timed their Summer '08 wedding ceremony on the shore of Lake Union with the natural light of the evening sun. It wasn't too sunny and it wasn't too dark - just perfect.

As you look ahead to your wedding ceremony this year, consider a few things if you're planning your wedding by the water's edge or in direct sunshine:

- Water's Edge: If you are being married at the water, consider boats, gawkers and general noise. There are many fabulous venues around the Puget Sound area that are quiet, serene and perfect for a wedding ceremony. However, at some area waterfront areas and parks (even a few well-known reception venues!), consider how people in/on the water and around the space will/may impact your ceremony.

- Sunshine: There is nothing like being married in beautiful weather. And if you are being married outdoors, re-consider being married in direct sunshine. A little natural shade or created shade makes it much more comfortable for the couple (especially if it's very warm) and also makes for more beautiful pictures, i.e., there isn't as much squinting!

Title: Fridrich F2L: Going Slow and Looking Ahead

This is a tutorial on Going Slow and Looking Ahead in the F2L part of the Fridrich method. In this tutorial, I will talk about what Looking Ahead exactly is, how it's useful, and how to practice getting better at it.

Looking Ahead in F2L is one of the most important techniques in getting faster at the First Two Layers. In order to average under 20 seconds, it is imperative that you become very good at this skill. It will still help you in reaching sub 15 seconds times and even faster than that too. I cannot stress enough how important Going Slow and Looking Ahead will help you.

It is recommended that you average under 25 seconds for your F2L (F2L + Cross) before you attempt learning about Looking Ahead. If your F2L isn't under 25 seconds it really shouldn't be hard to get to that speed with some practice. I would also highly recommend looking at Badmephisto's F2L videos, even if you already average under 25 seconds for F2L. He talks about very important basic tips in getting faster at F2L that is definetly worth watching.
